DescriptionThe crest rail has a depression in its center and is supported by two rectangular stiles. The back splat has a pierced decoration of a heart and four elongated shapes. The back splat is attached at its lower end to the rectangular back rail. Below the seat the rear legs splay outwards from the back of the chair. The front legs, below the rush seat, have vase turnings separated by block-turned forms and end in a spanish feet. The two side stretchers on each side have double-vase-and-ring turnings. The front stretcher has a center ring turning flanked by vase-andreel turnings, and the rear stretcher is plain. Corner blocks cover the tops of the front legs.
