One of three exhibitions organized by WCMA to recognize and celebrate the centennial of Gaius Charles Bolin's 1889 graduation from Williams College. Bolin was the first black graduate of Williams and his accomplishments at Williams and subsequent community and professional work on behalf of blacks in Poughkeepsie, NY and beyond, have assured him a distinquished place in Williams College history.
