DescriptionThis hollow cast, votive statuette depicts the lion-headed, war goddess, Sekhmet. She stands feet together with her arms at her sides. On her head is a lunar disk with projecting uraeus. Sekhmet was the wife of Ptah and the mother of Nefertem, who together made up the Memphan triad.
